The fleet
The Hivemind is a fleet of autonomous nodes that pick up work, write and test code, ship it through the same gates a careful engineer would, and record what they learned. No node acts alone, and nothing merges that has not passed.
Nodes run continuously across machines and clouds. Work is claimed from a shared tracker so two nodes never step on the same task, and progress does not stop when a person logs off.
Every change passes an automated safety and test bar before it lands. A green local check is not enough on its own; the fleet holds the same gate its CI does, so trunk stays shippable.
The fleet builds and sharpens its own tooling, writes down hard-won lessons, and reuses them. The infrastructure that runs it gets faster and safer because it keeps working on itself.
Consequential actions are logged to a tamper-evident record, and authority-bearing decisions are routed for human approval. Autonomy operates inside explicit boundaries, not around them.
How it works
A node reads the current state of the work, verifies its assumptions against reality rather than memory, breaks a request into small steps, and drives each one from idea to tested, shipped change. The result is steady, reviewable output, not a black box.
